Travel...

I love to travel.  When I was a kid, my house was on the approach path for the airport. I watched planes fly overhead and wondered where all those people were headed. I wanted to be on that plane, regardless of the destination.

 

I travelled a bit during my university years and a bit for work, but then I had kids and a mortgage and the travel budget was limited. Fortunately, the ex-pat life allowed us to explore another culture as a family and to travel farther than I ever hoped. Road trips are my favorite…exploring spots off the beaten path, especially in remote corners of the world.  Travelling is a great opportunity to discover new settings for my stories!
